LEA Team Spotlight: Office Manager, Tami Sorocco – As we look forward to the future of LEA Professional and all of the possibilities on the horizon, it is important to keep a good handle on the day-to-day operations of our office as well.
That’s where our Office Manager, Tami Sorocco comes in!
What’s your current position at LEA?
[TS] My current position at LEA is Office Manager. Some of my duties include credit card reconciliation, learning new computer systems, wire transfers, and assisting Matt McClain, our VP of Finance & Administration, in the daily functions of the office. As the company continues to grow, I look forward to taking on new responsibilities.
What is your background in the industry?
[TS] My background in the audio industry comes from the 9 years I spent working at Crown/Harman. Before coming to Crown/Harman I worked in marketing in the RV Industry at a company called The Odyssey Group, I was there for about 8 years until the company closed due to the economic downturn.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Bethel University. I have also completed the Certificate program in Management Training at the University of Notre Dame.
What do you like about audio technology?
[TS] The audio industry is like no other, it’s a fun industry with exciting things happening all the time. I’ve met such wonderful people and feel so lucky to be able to work with them today.
What is the most exciting thing about joining LEA?
[TS] The most exciting thing about joining LEA is to see this company take shape and see the acceptance and excitement of our customers. We are creating a new brand, and as employees, we are so excited. But to see our customer’s excitement, that’s just awesome.
What are your personal hobbies?
[TS] When I’m not at work I’m either at a Gymnastics meet, (both of my sons are competitive gymnasts) or spending time with my family and friends at the lake.

Congratulations Tami! Glad you are with others you know and work well with.
Blake, you are coming up with quite a talented team. Together, you will make amazing quality products. Tell the former Harman engineers that Diane Ellis, the former Quality First Article Inspector, says Hi.
