How To Connect To The Connect Series Amplifiers Via Wired Mode:
The CONNECTSERIES family of amplifiers have the ability to connect to any network via Wired Mode using Cat5 or Cat6 cables. Connecting to your amplifier via Wired Mode allows you to control, monitor, and configure your CONNECTSERIES amplifier from any PC, tablet, or mobile phone using our Web UI.
What You'll Need
How To Connect To The Connect Series Amplifiers Via Wired Mode:
CONNECTSERIES amplifier
Mobile device or computer
Network Switch or Existing network with available ethernet ports
Cat5 or Cat6 network cable
WIRED MODE WALKTHROUGH
How To Connect To The Connect Series Amplifiers Via Wired Mode:
Get your new network switch or find an open port on your current network setup and plug in the network cable to the port and plug the other end of the cable into the amplifier’s ethernet control port.
The amplifier will connect to the network and show “Wired” and the IP address on the front display once the connection is established. The amplifier’s default settings are with Wired Mode active and DHCP enabled.
- If the Display shows AP: CSXXX-XXXX on the front and the WiFi Button LED is BLUE then you need to press the WiFi button to change the amplifier to Wired Mode.
- When the Wifi Button LED is off then the amplifier is in “Wired Mode”.
Now, go to your PC, tablet, or phone’s network settings and connect to the same network as your amplifier.
Once your amplifier and device are connected to the same network, locate the IP address on the front panel display of your amplifier and type it into your device’s web browser.
You are now connected to your amplifier via Wired Mode and can control, monitor, and configure your amps settings using our Web UI.
