Whether you’re a first-time attendee or a seasoned veteran, there’s plenty to prepare for before heading to InfoComm 2024, the world’s largest AV trade show.

You likely already know the basics for any trade show, such as wearing comfortable shoes, carrying a portable phone charger, and being mindful of tripping hazards. We won’t dwell on the obvious.

Instead, here are 10 essential tips you should know before attending InfoComm 2024:

Getting to the Show

Hotel Shuttle Bus Schedule:

Complimentary shuttle service is provided between the Las Vegas Convention Center and the following hotels. The Shuttles will be running every 10-15 minutes, with no mid-day service.

The Las Vegas Monorail:

Directly connected to several Strip resort hotels as well as the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Monorail is the easiest, fastest and most convenient way to get from one end of the Strip to the other.

West Hall:

Taxis are located outside the West Lobby & Rideshare is located in the Diamond lot

Central Hall

Taxis & Rideshare are located in the blue lot

Parking:

The fee for parking at the Las Vegas Convention Center is $15.00 per space. Anyone leaving the Convention Center and planning to return the same day can show their paid parking receipt for reentry.

Parking lots: West Hall Diamond parking lots and the Central Hall Bronze parking lots. There is limited parking in Central Hall Silver parking lot.

Badge Pickup Process

Step 1

When you arrive at Infocomm, head to the registration counters located in the West & Central Exhibit Hall. For a smooth pickup process, remember to have your confirmation email & valid ID.

Step 2

Make sure to have your confirmation email and a valid ID or passport to present to the agent on site and they will present your printed badge with a lanyard.

Step 3

When you enter the Las Vegas Convention Center for the first time, present your printed badge and enjoy the show!

It is mandatory to wear your badge while attending the show.

Focus Areas

There are seven designated Focus Areas at InfoComm that group similar categories of manufacturers together to make it easier for attendees to locate and compare different solutions that they might be interested in. The seven zones are:

Show Features

Audio Demo Rooms are open to all attendees and are included in your InfoComm registration. They are located in the Central Hall (Meeting Rooms N101-N120 and N201-N221) from Tuesday 11 a.m. to Friday 5 p.m and are included in your InfoComm registration.

Audio Demo Rooms are purpose-built showrooms where you can listen to products the way they’re meant to be heard, away from the ambient noise of the tradeshow floor.

Located in Booth W2847, Infocomm is bringing the conversations from AVIXA Xchange to life. Whether you’re looking to discover new ideas, expand your network, or participate in vibrant discussions—Xchange LIVE is for you.

Launching this year, at booth c10125 is the Infocomm AI Experience. Stay ahead of the AI trend with straight talk from industry pros on the AI Experience Stage about how AI is shaking up the Pro AV scene and making a difference in workflows.  

Visit the Generative AI Photobooth Kiosk to see yourself in a different light. Generative AI technology will transform you into another era – or to the superhero you have always wanted to be! 

The event begins with a reception in the Atrium, where, through one-of-a-kind immersive technology experiences created specifically for Sphere, guests will gain a better understanding of how technology amplifies our human potential. The guests will then enter the main venue bowl for a multi-sensory cinematic experience – Darren Aronofsky’s Postcard from Earth.

Get ready to level up your game. Located in Booth C9771, Discover the world of collegiate esports at InfoComm Esports Live 2.0, where you can explore industry standards for creating a “Home Field” for competitive play, a “Practice Field” for championship preparation, and developing a live online presence to build a community around a college esports team. 

Now in its second year, and tripled in size, the Trailblazers Zone is a curated destination on the expo floor showcasing the latest innovations and cutting-edge technologies from emerging companies and first-time exhibitors in the pro AV industry. This specialized zone offers attendees the chance to explore and experience groundbreaking solutions that may not yet be widely known or established in the market.

InfoComm 2024 Official App

The official InfoComm app is your one-stop shop for everything the show has to offer and will guide you through the week. Some of the features include:

To help attendees fully explore all that Infocomm has to offer, a convenient AI-generated personal assistant has been integrated into the experience. Whether you require exhibitor details, event locations, or transportation assistance, this tool is here to guide you every step of the way.

Not sure who will all be at InfoComm 2024? No worries, this has you covered. This section might look a little daunting considering it is a list of over 1,000 exhibitors but it’s made quite simple. By either typing in the company you are looking for or filtering by categories, the database will spit out exhibitor information and help direct you to their booth.

For attendees/exhibitors who do not have much time during the day, this is a GAME CHANGER. 

 This is where you will find all of the sessions that are going on during the show. They are separated by day, time, and location of the event to give you the best chance to plan around your schedule.

On the home screen, you’ll find the Floorplans tab. This feature provides an immersive layout of the halls, helping you navigate the venue to find exhibitors and locate facilities such as restrooms, restaurants, charging stations, and more.
