What’s your current position at LEA?
[JH] Business Development Manager, APAC
What is your background, and what brings you to LEA Pro?
[JH] For 18 years, I’ve been immersed in the Professional AV industry, with extensive experience in systems integration and working with leading manufacturers like Audio Technica and Clockaudio. My strong network and relationships across the APAC region position me to drive success and growth for LEA’s business here. Exciting times are ahead!
What do you like about audio technology?
[JH] Audio technology is constantly evolving. It has progressed from traditional analog systems to advanced IP standards like Dante and AES67, enabling more seamless and efficient communication. The pace of innovation keeps the field exciting and full of new possibilities.
What are your personal hobbies?
[JH] Music is my greatest passion—I enjoy classic ’80s hits, some jazz, and I’m a huge fan of house music. Back in the ’90s, I was a DJ, spinning house and techno on vinyl. I also love cycling, and I’m fortunate to live in Singapore, where we have fantastic cycling tracks and parks.
What makes audio or audio tech so important in your opinion?
[JH] Audio is the most important dimension, whether in a meeting room or a club. Quality sound defines the impact and elevates the entire experience.
