Bill will be assisting the engineering and technician team with repairs, modifications, and prototyping on all of our Connect Series amplifiers. Bill is also responsible for any troubleshooting to ensure that all of LEA’s amps are good and ready to go for our customers.

A Conversation with Bill Craft, Electrical Engineering Technician
What’s your current position at LEA?
What drew you into your specific field of work?
[BC] Always interested in how things work, introduced to electronics in my teens by friends that built their own Tesla coil.
What do you like about audio technology?
[BC] Having my own business as a mobile DJ and my education in electronics it’s great to be able to combine the two.
What are your personal hobbies?
[BC] I play competitive darts which involves being in leagues and tournaments. I also really enjoy playing RPG video games in my free time.
Do you have any personal “tech projects” that you have worked on in the past or are currently working on?
[BC] It always seems that people I know and am friends with are always dropping random things to see if I can bring it back to life and hopefully get it working again.
What makes audio or audio tech so important in your opinion?
[BC] Audio tech, especially in the field of music, affects people on several levels. Whether it’s motivational, relaxation, or just to amplify having a good time, audio can be the basis from which these are achieved.
