How To Save & Load Connect Series Amplifier Settings
The CONNECTSERIES amplifiers use a Web UI to control and configure the amplifier’s settings. This includes everything from the amps name, the venue’sname, individual channel names, DSP settings, network settings, and more. Once you have completely configured and customized the amplifier settings to your liking, you can also use the Web UI to save and export all of your settings. The files that you export can then be loaded into other CONNECTSERIES amplifiers to quickly set up identically behaving units.
Here’s how you do it:
How to Save CONNECT SERIES Amplifier Settings
First, connect to your CONNECTSERIES amplifier using one of the three connectivity options.
Once your device is connected to your amplifier, you will see a list of every amplifier that is connected to the same network. Find the amplifier you want to export settings for and click the “I” icon.
Now, select the “Advanced” option from the pop-up menu. This with take you to the Import/Export page where you can generate your export file.
Click “Export Amp Settings”
Depending on your browser’s file download settings, you will either be prompted to rename the .JSON file and save it somewhere on your computer or, the .JSON file will automatically download with a generic name.
You have now exported and saved your entire amplifier settings.
How to Load CONNECT SERIES Amplifier Settings
Follow steps 1-3 above to connect to your amplifier and navigate to the import page of the Web UI.
Click “Import Amp Settings”
Select “Choose File” and locate the .JSON file on your computer and select it.
Select what settings to import. You will be given the option to either import all of the amplifier settings or you can select to import only the:
- Network Settings – this includes information such as any Wi-Fi networks SSIDs and passwords, Static-IP settings, etc.
- Amp Settings – This includes information such as the amplifier’s name, installation information, etc.
- Channel Settings – This includes each channel’s name and DSP settings.
Once you’ve selected which settings you want to import, click the “Import” option and all of the settings you’ve selected will be imported into your amplifier.
