What’s your current position at LEA?
[BM] Quality Control Technician
What is your background, and what brings you to LEA Pro?
[BM] I grew up with computers and working with them and other technology. It led me to pursue a degree in IT Networking where I learned the ins-and-outs of working with various technologies. I knew I wanted to continue to work with tech in my career, and that led me to LEA!
What excited you most about working in audio technology?
[BM] In my opinion, audio is the most important part of any experience. It wouldn’t be complete, or could be totally ruined, without good, quality sound you can truly feel.
What are your personal hobbies?
[BM] Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and (most importantly) my girlfriend. I also like to play video games, attend a good concert, and support Notre Dame football at their home games. Go Fighting Irish!
In your opinion, what makes audio such a powerful or important part of the experience?
[BM] When listening to a song or watching a movie, hearing all the different and varying sounds makes it so much more enjoyable. From hearing the cool bass melody in a song to the deep rumble of The Endurance lifting off (Interstellar), sound is important because it makes everything feel more real.
What is LEA’s biggest differentiator?
[BM] The time and effort that goes into each amplifier—no detail is too small. Our team works diligently to make sure each amp is thoroughly QA tested and meets customer expectations, before they arrive in market and are installed in the next big project.
