Quality Control Technician | Olivia Koch

What’s your current position at LEA?

[OK] My current position is a quality control technician. I unbox, update, and test our units. I’m excited to have the opportunity to improve workflow at LEA in a low-stress environment; which is much different than my previous jobs.

What excites you most about working in audio technology?

[OK] I am a music and cinema lover. I could listen to music all day, everyday and never be tired of it. It excites me knowing the sound amplifiers at LEA are used so widespread and in such large amounts.

What are your personal hobbies?

[OK] If I’m out of the house I spend my time listening to music and podcasts, as well as shopping. At home, I play video games with friends and watch a lot of television. I also enjoy a good game night with my family; however I spend most of my time with my boyfriend as we have very similar hobbies/interests and he is my best friend.

In your opinion, what makes audio such a powerful or important part of the experience?

[OK] I wouldn’t be the person I am today without audio experiences. From playing video games, to listening to music, to watching shows; all of my favorite things to experience include audio.

What is LEA’s biggest differentiator?

[OK] The thing that stands out to me the most about LEA is the effort, care, and quality that goes into everything we produce. LEA’s treatment towards customers and workers is admirable and truly makes me excited to work here.
